Ian Villa is Whisper Aero’s COO and Chief Product Officer. The next generation, ultra-quiet propulsive technologies he and his team are now building at Whisper will revolutionize electric aircraft from drones, to regional aircraft, and more to enable the future of flight at scale. Ian is responsible for transforming Whisper Aero’s vision into seamless execution and ensuring the full team’s talents are able to shine.
Ian continues to drive aviation thought leadership. His steady upward progress has landed him on the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 list and eVTOL Insights 2022 Power Book. Previously, Ian led Uber Elevate’s aircraft partnerships and eventually became the Head of Strategy and System Simulation in 2020. Prior to joining Uber, Ian designed aircraft at Northrop Grumman Advanced Design. At Stanford University, Ian earned his B.S. and M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
