Michael is a digital health investor at NEA, focused on investing at the incubation, venture, and venture growth stages. Previously, he was a healthcare investor at Court Square Capital, a private equity firm based in New York. At Court Square, Michael worked on leveraged buyouts and M&A transactions across the healthcare services and healthcare technology sectors. Michael started his career at PJT Partners as a member of its inaugural analyst class following the firm’s spinoff from the Blackstone Group. At PJT, Michael focused on M&A across a variety of industries, including defense, telecommunications, media, technology, healthcare, and real estate. Michael graduated from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where he studied international relations and economics. He is a native of Nashville, TN.
